Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data ParcelForwarder collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the ParcelForwarder website, customer portal, and services.

1. Data We Collect

  • Account data: name, email, password hash, phone number (optional).
  • Shipping data: destination addresses, package contents, weight, dimensions, merchant, tracking numbers, product declarations, HS codes, country of origin.
  • Payment data: last-4 and card metadata via our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage data: log data, IP address, device info, and interactions with the portal used to secure and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Data

  • Operate the forwarding service, match packages to your account, and generate labels.
  • Process payments, invoices, refunds, and prevent fraud.
  • Comply with customs, export, and sanctions requirements.
  • Provide support and notify you of exceptions (failed payment, restricted item, route issue).
  • Improve the Service and detect abuse.

3. Sharing

We share data only as needed to operate the Service:

  • Carriers (e.g. FedEx, DHL) for label generation and delivery.
  • Certified Processing Centers that physically handle your packages.
  • Customs authorities as required for import/export.
  • Payment processors (e.g. Stripe) to charge your card.
  • Infrastructure providers under confidentiality obligations.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. International Transfers

Because forwarding inherently crosses borders, your data will be transferred to and processed in the country of the Processing Center and the destination country.

5. Retention

We retain shipment records for as long as required by applicable tax, customs, and export regulations, and account data for as long as your account is active.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit, role-based access controls, audit logging, and payment tokenization. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management, and optional analytics cookies to understand product usage.

9. Contact
